Web platform for a personal AI learning assistant
KIMO is a friendly AI assistant that predicts which online courses are the best fit for you. You can chat with KIMO as if you’re speaking to your own personal assistant.
The team behind KIMO needed a website that presents KIMO as a high-tech, intelligent AI learning assistant. I created a website that looks futuristic and at the same time conveys KIMO personality by making it appear as if KIMO is chatting with you. I also created some demos to showcase the system behind Kimo, using realtime object recognition and facial recognition via the webcam.

When a user logs in for the first time, KIMO starts a conversation to get to know them.
Behind the scenes users can log in to their KIMO account and set their preferences. KIMO then recommends the online courses that are the best fit.
One of the early versions of the web app included face and posture recognition in order to detect emotions during chat conversations with KIMO.
